Consulting wants you!
The recruiting season has begun and our ‘people and performance’ team are busy organising events so that you can meet us, understand what we do, and decide whether consulting (or other service lines) are for you.
During these events you will have one-on-one time with past graduates (like me) allowing you to get answers to all your questions about what a future at Deloitte will entail....

Celebrate and have fun
One of the ‘signals’ we live by at Deloitte is ‘celebrate and have fun’. On Thursday my project team went for a dinner to celebrate the successful completion of a large and intense project.
The food was good, the wine excellent, and the sommelier’s knowledge was impressive but it was a lot more than that which made this such an enjoyable occasion.

Work hard, play hard: play
We have a number of social events which are on all the time at Deloitte – you will hear more about these from reading this blog. The event this Friday is a monthly occurrence called Fly Home Friday (FHF). On FHF all consultants head back to their home office and spend a day together. The day revolves around training, seminars, lunch, drinks and catching up with colleagues. Can’t wait!

A common phrase heard around the office is “Work hard, play hard”. As consultants, our clients have high expectations for us and we are expected to work hard to deliver a first class result. This week that involves doing a large amount of overtime to meet an end of year deadline.
